Woman Detained for Questioning After Man Found Dead in Fort Pierce Home

A man was found deceased in a Fort Pierce residence last night, and a woman has been detained for questioning in connection with the incident, law enforcement officials reported. According to CBS12, St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived at the scene following a report of a possible dead person at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Birch Drive in the Indian River Estates neighborhood.

The deceased man, whose identity has yet to be released, was found inside the house by officials who promptly responded to the initial call. Detectives from the sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division are conducting interviews with a woman who was also present at the scene at the time, has been detained, as announced by WPBF.
