Yesterday, the Antioch Police Department's Investigations Bureau arrested 34-year-old Brandon Rowlett in connection with an attempted homicide. The incident left 59-year-old Frank Troia in critical condition at a local hospital, following an early morning conflict the day before, as indicated in a press release from the Antioch Police Department.
The circumstances leading to the altercation remain unclear, but the department responded to emergency calls at approximately 2:46 AM on Tuesday. Describing the scene upon the officers' arrival, the department said, "they located the victim who appeared to have been involved in a physical altercation." The victim, identified as Troia, was found on the roadway at Lone Tree Way and W. Tregallas Road in Antioch.
According to the same press release, the Investigations Bureau, including Crime Scene Investigators and detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit, has taken over the ongoing investigation. The Bureau has not disclosed any further details regarding the conflict or the motive behind the incident, maintaining the integrity of their active investigation.
