
A social media threat targeted at Greenwood Mall in Bowling Green led to swift police action yesterday, resulting in an arrest. The Bowling Green Police Department disclosed through a Facebook post that the threat hinted at a shooting set to occur today.
Investigators wasted no time to quickly identify and track down the individual deemed responsible for the alarming post. "He was taken into custody without incident," shared the Bowling Green Police Department. The police have since charged Jay H. Gill, a 33-year-old man from the local area, with terroristic threatening, tampering with physical evidence, and disorderly conduct.
The investigation remains ongoing, suggesting that law enforcement is still piecing together the situation to ensure public safety.
