The next chance of rain looms on Thursday, with the National Weather Service forecasting a 30% likelihood, mainly after noon, but it is projected that any precipitation will be light with high temperatures reaching near 55 degrees.
The collective outlook from various forecast models suggests that any substantial rain will circumvent the Chicago area to the south for the remainder of the week, according to FOX 32 Chicago, highs for Thursday and Friday are predicted to range from the upper 40s to low 50s while looking forward, the weekend promises drier conditions with low 50s for highs, an occasional cloud on Saturday night could see the temperature drop to around 38 but overall, a sunnier disposition is expected to conclude the week.
