Yocsira, a 14-year-old female, is described as about 5 feet tall and 90 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She has an olive complexion and is of Hispanic descent. The teen was reported missing after she was last seen at her residence in the 2100 block of North Lorel Avenue at approximately 9:00 PM.
According to the Chicago Police Department's news release, Lopez is known to frequently visit the area around Foreman High School, located at 3225 N LeClaire Ave. Officials have pointed out the importance of Spanish-speaking individuals in assisting with the search, as Yocsira speaks little English. Community members with any information that can aid in locating Yocsira Lopez are urged to promptly contact the Area Five, Detective Division, Special Victims Unit.
