A fatal shooting in Cincinnati's West End has claimed the life of a 37-year-old man, Dontonyio Spruill. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon near Poplar Street and Central Avenue. According to Local 12, the Cincinnati Police Department (CPD) was alerted to the vicinity following a ShotSpotter notification at approximately 2:30 p.m.
Upon their arrival, police discovered Spruill with a gunshot wound. Despite the life-saving efforts by the Cincinnati Fire Department, Spruill ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
