Fort Lauderdale's Port Everglades welcomed the newest addition to Disney Cruise Line's fleet, the Disney Destiny, which is set to embark on its maiden voyage come November 20. As reported by NBC Miami, the Destiny is the seventh ship in Disney's lineup and will soon begin to offer four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean.
The 1,119-foot vessel arrived at the port earlier this week and is equipped to accommodate 4,000 guests with numerous features, including pools, restaurants, and themed experiences crafted to entertain Disney fans of all ages. The Disney Destiny is seemingly prepared to quickly captivate guests with its Broadway-style plays and a range of experiences featuring cherished Disney characters and even some of the infamous villains.
According to details provided by WSVN, the recent unveiling event at Port Everglades marks a significant addition to Disney's expanding cruise business. The Disney Destiny's embarkation from Fort Lauderdale will help enhance the region's standing as a cruise vacation hub and continue to grow the local economy that benefits from the thriving cruise sector.
Those interested in sailing aboard the Disney Destiny can look forward to an experience designed to merge luxury cruising with the magic of Disney storytelling.
