A somber morning greeted the workers at Advanced Process Technologies in Cokato, Minnesota, on November 11th, when an employee was found tragically deceased at her workstation. According to a post from the Wright County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the scene around 6:00 a.m. after receiving a 9-1-1 call. Despite the efforts of deputies and Cokato Ambulance to perform life-saving measures, the adult female victim suffered from significant head trauma and was pronounced dead on site.

Found on the scene was taken into custody without incident by deputies, 40-year-old David Bruce Delong of Watkins. Details are sparse, and the authorities have not yet released the name of the victim, respecting the right to privacy and the sensitivity of her passing.
The Wright County Sheriff’s Office stated, "The initial investigation indicated that the adult female’s death was due to an assault by an adult male coworker with a blunt force object." Delong, facing the gravity of the situation, remains in custody as due process unwinds its long arms towards the semblance of justice for the departed.
