Gresham residents can attend an open house and story time at Fire Station 71 on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to noon at 1333 NW Eastman Pkwy. The event offers the community a chance to meet police and firefighters and learn about emergency services funded by the Fire and Police Levy, according to the City of Gresham’s website.
The family-friendly event includes story time for younger children, activities for older kids, refreshments, and opportunities to explore the fire station and its equipment.
Police and firefighters will be available to discuss their roles and answer questions about their work in public safety. The open house is part of a series of events planned through spring 2026, with future dates to be announced on the city’s events page.
