A tragic hit-and-run incident has left a 45-year-old man dead on Chicago's South Side. The man was struck by a van that fled the scene on Monday afternoon in Morgan Park. According to WGN-TV, the collision occurred in the 11700 block of South Marshfield Avenue around 4:45 p.m.
Chicago Police Department responded to the scene following the incident. An offender, reportedly driving a van heading south, collided with the pedestrian and subsequently did not stop.
