The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, found himself suddenly and inexplicably under attack, the assailant, a bearded Hispanic male in his 50s, clad in gray and wearing glasses, launched into a stabbing frenzy without provocation, the San Diego Police Department detailed the attacker targeted the man's face and arm before the victim could escape from the harrowing encounter, the exact motive for the attack remains unclear.
