The McConaugheys, embodying both elegance and energy, were selected to mirror the identity of the Star Princess, based on a statement obtained by Travel Market Report.
The ceremony also featured a performance by Sheryl Crow, a nine-time Grammy winner, who entertained the audience with a mix of her greatest hits. Her presence added an extra touch of star power to the evening, aligning with the vessel's festive launch. As per Local 10, the event concluded with a spectacular, Alaska-themed drone show that depicted natural wonders such as grizzlies and whales, followed by an impressive display of the Princess sea witch.
Looking forward to its first U.S. voyage to the Bahamas next week, the Star Princess is the latest addition in the line's Sphere Class, which started with the Sun Princess last year. The notable features of this class include a mid-ship Sphere and forward Dome, designed to catch and reflect the sunlight brilliantly.
