Miami-Dade County is accepting nominations for the 37th Annual “In the Company of Women” awards, which honor women leaders across various sectors. The nomination deadline is December 12, as per the Miami-Dade County release.
The awards ceremony will take place in March, in conjunction with Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day. The program, organized by the Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces Department, the Miami-Dade Commission for Women, and the Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade, presents awards across eight categories, including arts, sports, business, and government.
Nominations must be submitted online with supporting materials by 11:59 p.m. on the deadline. Past winners are not eligible. A selection committee of community leaders and previous awardees will review nominations.
