The incident unfolded at the corner of Southwest 67th Avenue and Bird Road, near a McDonald's.
The victim, who fortunately suffered only minor injuries, was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Deputies searched the area for evidence and later moved north of the scene, though it’s unclear whether they were looking for a weapon or additional suspects. The MDSO Kendall District General Investigations Unit is leading the investigation, with two people already in custody.
