The Milton Family Foundation, in partnership with Miami-Dade Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz and the Police Officer Assistance Trust, is set to honor our servicemen and women at the 5th Annual Veterans Appreciation Luncheon. According to a Miami-Dade government press release, the gala is scheduled for tomorrow at the InterContinental at Doral Miami. The event is slated to run from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and promises to be a significant occasion for acknowledging the brave individuals dedicated to protecting our nation and the citizens of Miami-Dade County.
The luncheon, as confirmed by the same source, will serve not just as a dining event but, a reaffirmation of our community's dedication to those who have worn the uniform. Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz is expected to personally extend her gratitude to local veterans for their service.
Hosted at the luxurious InterContinental at Doral Miami located at 2505 NW 87 Avenue, Doral, FL 33172, this luncheon is viewed as a staple event. It is an annual fixture charting the recognition owed to our veterans, an initiative steered by Cecil and Ana Milton of The Milton Family Foundation in tandem with local law enforcement and the Police Officer Assistance Trust.
Guests at the event will include a roster of Miami-Dade County first responders and military personnel whose contributions to national security and local safety are immense, and often, understated. As cited in the Miami-Dade government press release, Sheriff Rosie-Cordero-Stutz remarked, "This event provides an opportunity to recognize those Miami-Dade County first responders and military personnel who protect our nation and the citizens of Miami-Dade County."
