A man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in December 2024 has been arrested by the Metro Nashville Police Department. Antwane Crenshaw, 24, a Nashville resident, was taken into custody during a traffic stop yesterday, on Briley Parkway at Interstate 24, according to WKRN.

The victim, 39-year-old LaJames Shannon, was killed while riding a mini motorbike near the intersection of Fain Street and Fairfield Avenue on Dec. 7, 2024. Police indicated that Crenshaw’s alleged actions were linked to a targeted attack stemming from an ongoing dispute with Shannon. An AR pistol was found in Crenshaw’s vehicle during his arrest, WSMV reported.

Crenshaw was arrested on charges related to an outstanding indictment, including first-degree murder. As per FOX 17, he was booked into jail with a bond set at $250,000. The Clarksville Police Department, involved in the investigation.
