The Metropolitan Action Commission (MAC) is hosting an event for local businesses to connect with the POWER Youth Program, which provides internships and workforce development opportunities for over 1,500 youth in Davidson County.

According to the Nashville Metropolitan Action Commission release, the event will take place tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., hosted by the Greater Nashville Technology Council. Businesses can learn about offering paid internships, job shadowing, and career panel participation. Youth wages are paid through MAC, reducing financial barriers for businesses.
