An Olive Branch family finds itself entwined in a harrowing web of allegations following a sexual assault investigation at St. George's Independent School in Collierville, as an arrest has been made and charges laid against several individuals. Action News 5 reports that Olive Branch resident Bryant Swing Jr. is implicated for tampering with evidence in connection to the assault, while his parents are also facing legal troubles; Bryant Swing Sr. has been apprehended for drug-related offenses and Nakesha Rockette for obstructing the investigation.
In the wake of the harrowing accusations, a 14-year-old student from the same educational institute has been charged with aggravated rape linked to the ordeal as stated by Collierville Police, FOX13 Memphis reveals, the name of the juvenile has been withheld due to his age and the authorities remain invested in continuing their investigation which was sparked by initial reports from students on November 5 following an incident in the school's athletic building.
The police executed search warrants at the Swing residence, leading to the seizure of several electronic devices and the discovery of substances claimed by Swing Sr. The execution of these search warrants was marred by initial misdirection, as the family first presented an incorrect phone to law enforcement officers, prompting another day of searches and the uncovering of a potential attempt to destroy evidence, according to WREG.
