
Portland is settling into its familiar pattern of cloudy skies and rain as we near the end of November. According to the latest update from the National Weather Service, the city is experiencing mostly cloudy conditions with a temperature sitting at 43°F and a high humidity level of 93%. While the wind speed remains a mild eastward breeze at 6 MPH, the barometer reading is at 30.28 in.
The National Weather Service forecasts a 90% chance of rain tomorrow, with a high around 47°F. Rainfall is expected to be about a quarter to half an inch, so be prepared for wet conditions.
Rain will continue Tuesday night with a 90% chance and lows around 44°F. Wednesday will also be rainy, with an 80% chance and up to half an inch of rain possible. On Thanksgiving Day, rain is expected all day with a 100% chance and highs near 55°F.
The rest of Thanksgiving week will stay wet. Thursday night has an 80% chance of rain, mainly before 10 p.m. Friday will be mostly cloudy with more rain and highs near 53°F. Rain chances continue into the weekend on both Friday night and Saturday.
Portland may get a short break from the rain this weekend. Saturday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 37°F. Sunday will be partly sunny with a high near 48°F, but clouds return Sunday night. Monday will stay partly sunny with highs near 49°F.
