Looking ahead to Wednesday, the NWS forecasts a 40 percent chance of rain, mainly after 10 a.m. The day is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 61 degrees Fahrenheit and an east wind around 5 mph in the afternoon. Rain is more likely Wednesday night, with an 80 percent chance of precipitation, particularly after 10 p.m.
Portland’s wet weather is expected to continue through the week. Thursday’s forecast calls for rain, with a high near 58 degrees Fahrenheit, southeast winds of 7 to 9 mph shifting south-southwest in the afternoon, and gusts up to 18 mph. The chance of precipitation is 100 percent. From Thursday through the following Monday, rain is expected with varying likelihood, daytime highs in the mid-50s, and nighttime lows in the mid to upper 40s.
Portland’s weather is expected to remain largely overcast and rainy. The steady pattern of clouds and precipitation will continue through Veterans Day and into the rest of the week, with residents experiencing a mix of cool temperatures and frequent rainfall.
