Farragut Town Hall will host a historical presentation titled “A Day of Infamy” on December 1 at 7 p.m. Frank Galbraith, a retired Farragut Middle School history teacher, will discuss key events leading up to World War II. Topics include the aftermath of World War I, the Roaring Twenties, organized crime, the Great Depression, the rise of Adolf Hitler, and the attack on Pearl Harbor.
The event is free to the public. According to the Town of Farragut, attendees will also have access to light refreshments and tours of the Farragut Museum.
The presentation will take place at Farragut Town Hall, located at 11408 Municipal Center Drive. It is open to veterans, residents, and anyone interested in learning about major historical developments of the early 20th century.
