The Tunica County Sheriff's Office is currently on the lookout for Jeremiah Moore, a 15-year-old from Robinsonville, Mississippi, wanted in connection with a shooting that severely injured a 16-year-old. According to Action News 5, the incident occurred last Saturday, just after 5 p.m. at Kirby Road Estates in Robinsonville. The victim, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds, was later airlifted to the hospital.
Investigators have been making efforts to reach out to Moore's family, hoping to allow the teen to surrender voluntarily; however, these attempts have been unsuccessful. A warrant for attempted murder has been issued against Moore. As reported by WREG, in light of the seriousness of the charges, the U.S. Marshals have also been enlisted to assist in the search. The circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear.
The Tunica County Sheriff's Office has urged the public to come forward with any information that might help locate Moore. They have communicated that any lead that results in an arrest could be rewarded with up to $1,000.
