Sevier County is seeking a new Road Superintendent following a recent vacancy. Nominations will be accepted until December 5, and the Steering Committee will review candidates on December 8 at the Sevier County Courthouse, as per the Sevier County release.
Interested applicants should submit a letter of intent, resume, and supporting documents to the Sevier County Mayor's Office. All nominations must be certified by the Tennessee Highway Officials Certification Board and meet requirements under the Tennessee Code. Submissions are due by 4:00 PM on December 5.
Additional nominations can be made at the Sevier County Board of Commissioners meeting on December 15 at 5:00 PM in Courtroom 306W, where the official appointment will be made. The process follows T.C.A. § 5-5-111 and § 54-7-104.
