
A man was found dead under suspicious circumstances on Monday afternoon on a sidewalk in San Diego's East Village, prompting a homicide investigation. According to a press release from the San Diego Police Department, which was sent out via email, the incident occurred on the 800 block of 13th Street.
Police were alerted to the presence of an unresponsive male with severe injuries around 2:30 PM yesterday. Despite their rapid response alongside San Diego Fire Rescue Medics, who provided immediate aid, the man was declared deceased right there at the scene. The fall from an apartment window several stories up is considered a possible cause of the man's fatal injuries, but his identity has yet to be disclosed. The Police have not released additional details about the man’s identity or what led to the fall.
