For the third consecutive year, Texas has been recognized as having the best business climate in the United States, according to Site Selection magazine. Governor Greg Abbott announced the achievement in the Office of the Texas Governor website, highlighting the state’s strong economic environment that continues to attract corporate relocations and expansions.
The ranking is based on factors such as Texas’ economic growth, workforce development, technology investments, and consistent regulatory policies that appeal to businesses. The recognition also draws from a survey of corporate real estate executives and site selectors, where Texas ranked highest among competing states.
Earlier this year, Texas received the Governor’s Cup from Site Selection magazine for the 13th consecutive year, honoring its success in securing business projects and creating jobs. The state also earned the 2025 Prosperity Cup, underscoring its continued strength in attracting new business ventures and supporting economic growth.
