The week ahead for Utah's Governor Spencer J. Cox and Lt. Gov. Deidre M. Henderson is charted with a wide variety of public engagements ranging from emergency preparedness training to community celebrations, according to the Utah Governor's Office. The packed schedules are subject to change, but as of now, they include multiple meetings with government officials, speaking engagements, and media interviews, as well as participation in a service project.

Monday kicks off for Governor Cox with a 10:00 a.m. emergency preparedness and continuity training for his cabinet at the Emergency Operations Center, followed by a budget planning meeting in the Rampton Board Room and an interview at the Utah State Correctional Facility with SOLID Media Services. On the same day, Lt. Gov. Henderson is set to appear on KSL Newsradio and attend the same emergency training session with her presence at the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget meeting later in the afternoon.

Governor Cox's itinerary features notable events such as speaking at the 47G Zero Gravity Summit on Tuesday morning, which boasts media access, and hosting the 2025 Governor’s Award for Excellence at the Governor’s Mansion. He will also host a Diwali Celebration on Tuesday evening. Lt. Gov. Henderson, on the other hand, will also recognize recipients at the Governor’s Award event and will have a meeting with David Rutley, a former UK Government Minister.

Midweek activities include Governor Cox's interviews with both the 'Deseret Voices' podcast and Deseret Magazine, a virtual meeting with Maribel Pérez Wadsworth, CEO of the Knight Foundation, and he is scheduled to host a community dinner on Wednesday evening. In a related move, Lt. Gov. Henderson will visit Westridge Elementary in Provo for a literacy site visit and host a meeting with a Brazilian delegation at the Utah State Capitol.

Governor Cox will continue to engage with local and national forums on Thursday, with a speech at the National Governors Association Service to Career Pathways Convening. Lt. Gov. Henderson will honor Utah's Centenarian Veterans in the Rotunda of the Utah State Capitol, an event marked by media access, underscoring the administration's ongoing commitment to honor veterans' service. Both the Governor and Lieutenant Governor will conclude their week by participating in the governor’s quarterly service project at Twin Peak Elementary School in Millcreek on Friday.
