West Palm Beach is set to continue a longstanding tradition with its 34th Annual Pleasant City Share-A-Supper event. Slated for November 25 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m., the city dinner promises to bring together residents for a festive meal. According to the city's announcement, an estimated 400 individuals will receive a Thanksgiving dinner, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to indulge in the warmth of the season.
Hosted on 500 22nd Street, the event will offer a classic Thanksgiving spread, which includes turkey, string beans, rice, and more. Mayor Keith A. James captured the essence of the event, saying, “This annual community gathering brings our community together to share in the spirit of Thanksgiving, ensuring every neighbor has a warm meal and someone to enjoy it with,” in a statement obtained by the official City of West Palm Beach website. The meals, offered until they run out, are made possible through the collaboration between the City of West Palm Beach and contributions from local businesses.
