After a period of closure, the White House will reopen for public tours starting December 2. Visitors will once again be able to walk through the historic building and view its holiday decorations.
According to a White House announcement, the tour route has been updated to provide a more immersive experience. The Christmas decorations, curated under the direction of First Lady Melania Trump, will feature themed designs across the State Floor highlighting the holiday season.
To request a tour, visitors must contact their Member of Congress. Congressional offices can begin submitting requests today. December tour slots will open 30 days before the desired date, with information about January 2026 availability to be released later in December.
