
The Chicago Police Department released an advisory statement seeking the public's assistance to locate Yolanda Thomas, a 49-year-old woman, reported missing since December 6, 2025, describing her as African American with brown eyes and black braided hair, standing at 5'4" and weighing around 180 lbs. Her distinctive feature includes a tattoo with the word "Cookie" on her chest.
Thomas was last seen in the vicinity of the 10200 block of S. Walden, wearing a gray fleece coat, tan boots, a black crossbody bag, and tinted brown shades. Authorities have expressed particular concern due to her battle with depression. The public is urged to come forward with any pertinent information to contact Area Two SVU at 312-747-8276 or to call 911.
