Robert Tyler Penny, a 60-year-old African American male, was reported missing from the 9000 block of S. Laflin. Standing at 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing between 170 to 180 pounds, Penny has brown eyes, black hair, and can be identified by his beard and mustache, as described in an official notice from the Chicago Police Department.
Concerns are mounting for Penny, who has not been seen or heard from in approximately nine years. It is understood that his family has struggled to maintain contact over the years. Penny was last spotted wearing a short-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and gym shoes, and his medium brown complexion may aid in identifying him. The Chicago Police Department encourages anyone with information to urgently reach out to the Area Two Special Victims Unit or to call 911 directly.
