Later into the evening, the skies are expected to remain mostly clear as the temperature dips to around 20. It's a slight respite from the cold,, albeit still requiring layers for comfort, especially after sundown. The winds are set to mellow, turning calm into the evening which should offer a tranquil night.
Looking further ahead, the NWS indicates a string of sunny days leading into the new year. Monday should reach 39°F with calm winds throughout the day, while Monday night’s forecast predicts a low around 24°F. Tuesday continues with the sunny trend as the high is anticipated to be around 43°F, and at night, it is forecasted to drop to around 27°F.
The weather continues to warm up midweek with Wednesday's high getting close to a pleasant 47°F. The night brings a shift as the skies turn mostly cloudy and the temperature hovers around 31°F. On New Year's Day, there’s a slight chance of rain with partly sunny skies and a high near 50. Heading into the first weekend of the new year, the possibility of rainfall seems more likely, especially on Thursday night. Friday’s high could reach a mild 52°F, but the night might not be so inviting, with a chance of rain and snow as temperatures fall back down to 35°F. The wintry mix is predicted to continue into Saturday.
