The Columbia Police Department in Tennessee is ramping up for their much-anticipated annual "Shop with a Cop" event, an initiative that fosters a stronger bond between law enforcement and the community it serves, while delivering holiday cheer to children in need. As the countdown begins, with less than two weeks remaining, the Department is reaching out through social media to rally additional support.
According to a recent post on their official Facebook page, the Department continues to accept donations, emphasizing that community contributions are vital to the event's success. "We appreciate all the donations that have been made so far. Please help us make this the best year yet for the Children in our CommUNITY," the statement reads.
Shop with a Cop is made possible through a collaboration involving the Fraternal Order of Police and Associates James K. Polk Lodge 26, as well as the City of Columbia.
