The Chicago community is growing increasingly concerned as 15-year-old Adam Reyes has been reported missing since December 13, 2025. Coming from the 5300 block of W. Berteau, Reyes was last seen at approximately 11:30 a.m., according to a news release from the Chicago Police Department. At the time of his disappearance, Reyes was reported to be wearing a gray sweater and gray sweatpants.
Description details shared by the police department categorize Adam as a male of Hispanic origin, with a smaller stature of 4'5" and a weight of 130 lbs. At 15, he is still to fully grow into his teenage years, and the urgency to safely find him cannot be overstated. The Chicago Police Department has urged the public to come forward to help bring Reyes back safely to his family and loved ones.
In the day and night since Adam was last seen, the Area Five Special Victims Unit (SVU) has taken the lead on this case, under case number JJ521640. They have been actively canvassing the area and following up on all leads that have come in thus far.
