San Antonio police are looking for an armed suspect who robbed a Northeast Side business early Sunday, then took off on foot along Nacogdoches Road.
Officers said the holdup happened around 12:25 a.m. in the 2500 block of Nacogdoches Road. The suspect was wearing a blue hoodie, and no injuries were reported as police searched the area while the investigation continued.
According to News 4 San Antonio, the man first posed as a customer and set a bag of cookies on the counter. He then allegedly pulled a handgun from his waistband and demanded cash from the register.
The cashier handed over the money, and the suspect, described by police as a Black male between 20 and 30 years old, ran northbound on Nacogdoches Road, News 4 San Antonio reported.
Robbery Pattern On The Corridor
Nacogdoches Road has seen other business robberies in recent years. A July 2024 armed robbery at a dispensary along the same stretch was detailed by MySA/San Antonio Express-News.
In quick, opportunistic stickups like this, investigators often lean on surveillance footage and community tips to help build their cases.
