
On Sunday, a 23-year-old man was found dead from a gunshot wound on Gary Lane in La Vergne, TN. Police responded around 10:30 p.m. and pronounced him dead at the scene, according to the City of La Vergne.
Three suspects fled the area, with two captured after a vehicle pursuit. The third suspect remains at large, described as a male around 5'6" with a medium build, last seen wearing all white, including a white hooded sweatshirt, as reported by the City of La Vergne.
"Investigators believe this was a targeted incident, and there is no discernible threat to the general public," the La Vergne Police Department said. The department is investigating a shooting and is asking for help to find a suspect who is still at large.
