A man was found fatally shot in an alley in Chicago's North Lawndale neighborhood early Tuesday, Chicago police said. Officers located him in the 1800 block of South Ridgeway Avenue, and paramedics rushed him to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where he was later pronounced dead. Officers discovered the victim with multiple gunshot wounds in an alley behind the 1800 block of South Ridgeway around 12:50 a.m., and Area Four detectives were assigned to the investigation and remained on scene into the morning, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
