Miami locals can expect some consistency in the weather in the coming days, with temperatures gently flirting with the 80s. According to the National Weather Service, today's skies are mostly sunny with a high near 78, while tonight, the city will see partly cloudy conditions with temperatures dipping to around 70. The southeast breeze will persist, meaning beachgoers should be wary of a high risk of rip currents through at least Thursday.
However, NBC Miami reports that while the breeze continues, it's not at the same level as previous days. In the temperature department, changes are on the horizon as winds shift to the east, southeast, and eventually to the south and southwest. This progression will usher in warmer weather, potentially reaching the mid-80s by Friday.
Looking further ahead, a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms enters the forecast Thursday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. A similar chance of precipitation lingers into Thursday night. Nonetheless, the daytime high for Thursday is expected to be a pleasant 81 degrees with party sunny skies.
NBC Miami adds that Friday could feature an early shower followed by partial clearing, with temperatures possibly pushing into the mid-80s as the warmest day in the span. As the weekend approaches, a front rolling in late Thursday and Friday promises to shift conditions, bringing in cooler and drier air.
The forecast for Saturday through Tuesday suggests a mostly sunny outlook with highs around 80 degrees and more comfortable evening temperatures in the low 70s. Sunday could bring more clouds and a chance of an afternoon shower, but the overall trend leans toward steady, moderate conditions.
