The town of Millington will host a holiday event at Fire Station #1. According to a Facebook post from Millington Parks & Recreation, Santa Claus will be making an appearance. The event is scheduled for tomorrow, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Navy Road, and will include holiday activities for the community.
The schedule includes a range of activities aimed at attracting families from the surrounding area. Visitors can check in to receive a number, which may help organize the flow of attendees and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to meet Santa inside the firehouse. The event will also provide cookies, hot cocoa, and other treats from Millington Parks & Recreation and the Millington YMCA. In addition, food trucks, including Eric's Grill and Catering and 901 Eats and Treats, will be available to serve a variety of savory options.
The holiday gathering will include additional activities beyond food and a visit with Santa. A float show is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. across from Station #1. Specific details about the show have not been provided, but it is expected to feature a seasonal display. While the event is centered on Santa’s visit, it will also include activities designed to bring the community together.
