Milton's Parks and Recreation department is on the hunt for community-minded individuals eager to lead and lend a hand during the upcoming Birmingham Park Clean-up Day. According to the City of Milton, volunteers who aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves and direct efforts in sprucing up the local park are encouraged to consider stepping up as Trail Crew Leaders, positions that are essential for the success of the event scheduled for February 28, from 8 to 11 a.m.
The team has begun planning to ensure the event runs smoothly and safely. No prior experience is required, but organizers seek volunteers who can lead small teams and assist with tasks such as debris removal and tree care.
Trail Crew Leaders will attend one virtual meeting and the three-hour clean-up on February 28. Interested individuals can register on the city’s website, and residents are encouraged to apply or share the opportunity with others.
