The Milwaukee Fire Department participated in an event at Kagel Elementary School, working with the Daisie Foundation to share holiday cheer. The “Holiday Magic Express” moved through the school’s hallways with Santa, Mrs. Claus, helpers, and a Grinch character. According to a social media post, the event marks the season of giving, during which students and teachers receive gifts and lunch.
The Daisie Foundation provides support to women and children in communities experiencing socioeconomic challenges. As part of its initiatives, the organization has organized surprises for more than 15,000 students from 33 schools in Chicago, Houston, and Milwaukee.
During this year’s Holiday Magic Express, visitors were received in each classroom, demonstrating the event’s focus on holiday activities and community engagement.
