Meanwhile, in a separate incident reported by AOL, a 53-year-old male cyclist sustained serious head injuries after being struck by a car around 9 a.m. on Southwest First Avenue near Coconut Grove. The victim was quickly taken to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital to receive urgent care.
Continuing the morning's series of accidents, WSVN News details the critical injury of another bicyclist on Interstate 95 in Miami after a collision with a vehicle. The city of Miami’s emergency units responded to the scene, and Miami Fire Rescue provided immediate transport for the victim to the Ryder Trauma Center.
