In Munford, the spirit of giving is shining this holiday season as local residents rally to support those in need. Every item on the City Hall Angel Tree has been claimed and donated to the Tipton County Carl Perkins Center, guaranteeing gifts will reach recipients in time for Christmas.
Announced through a social media post by the City of Munford, the news brings to light the generosity of neighbors who, in stepping up when the call for help rang out, have cleared the Angel Tree of its hanging ornaments. The donated items include a variety of goods slated to bring joy to families and individuals during the holiday season, all collected and delivered in time for an event that, for many, is synonymous with giving and community.
Munford residents still have a chance to give this holiday season. City Hall is hosting the My Kind of Giving Tree, offering support to neighbors struggling with utility bills. "Our My Kind of Giving Tree is still up at City Hall if you would like to help a neighbor with their utility bill," the city’s social media post says, inviting community members to help brighten homes facing financial challenges.
