The Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department was quick to respond to the crisis, addressing multiple calls across the area, as they navigated through the inclement weather to reach those in need.
The fire department took to social media to provide updates on the situation. According to a Facebook post from the Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department, "Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department responded to multiple calls this evening for downed power lines, trees blocking roadways, and trees on homes as heavy rain and strong winds moved through the area." Fortunately, the damage appeared to be minimal with only minor injuries being reported, and no significant structural damage confirmed at the time of their announcement.
