
An 88-year-old Nashville man, Elvin Woodruff Jr., who was the subject of an overnight Silver Alert, has been found unharmed in Kattawa, Kentucky, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Post the update on social media, thanking the community for spreading the word. Woodruff had last been seen on Sunday in Madison wearing a black suit.
Authorities said Woodruff is 5'9", about 200 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. His family reported him missing due to a medical condition that could affect his ability to return home without help. He may have been driving a silver Chevy Silverado with Tennessee tag BRK-4272.
After the Silver Alert was issued, residents and law enforcement mobilized to help find Woodruff. In a Facebook post, TBI urged the public to report any sightings: 'Spot him? Call the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department at (615) 862-8600 or TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND!'
