The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department has issued a call to action as detectives work diligently to identify a male suspect linked to a string of cell phone thefts in downtown Nashville. As shared through a social media post, this individual has allegedly been involved in three separate incidents where victims not only lost their phones but also fell prey to financial exploitation.
As per the notice distributed by the police department, after the cell phone thefts, "Thousands of dollars were wired out of the victims’ bank accounts from Apple Pay." Moreover, the suspect managed to access the compromised individuals' credit cards. Crime Stoppers is currently fielding tips at 615-742-7463, offering a conduit for community participation in the resolution of these occurrences.
