Three youths, all teenagers, find themselves within juvenile detention's confines following a recent robbery and violent assault at a massage parlor situated on Donelson Pike, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
Per the official report from Nashville.gov, late Tuesday night became a scene of turmoil as Abdallah Sbeitani and Mohamed Gad, both 17 years of age, and Mohammed Sbeitani, just 15, allegedly erupted into the parlor, a pair of them brandishing firearms and, in a violent act, pistol-whipped two employees before fleeing with cash in tow, the incident concluded with the teens rapidly evacuating the premises in a Kia Soul.
It was not long before law enforcement, joined by the vigilant assistance from an MNPD helicopter, tracked down the trio at a Bell Road convenience store, where they were subsequently detained; discovered within their vehicle were two pistols—one of which bore the ignominious mark of being stolen property—ski masks, and the presumably pilfered currency.
The charges brought against them are severe, with two counts of especially aggravated robbery, burglary at Jasmine Spa on Grandview Drive, unlawful gun possession the full list of transgressions, it doesn't end there, Abdallah Sbeitani is entangled further with an additional charge for the aforementioned gun theft -- they find themselves now at the heart of investigations probing a string of violent crimes in the Nashville tapestry.
This unsettling sequence of events mirrors another recent arrest, that of one Sabaif Ahmed, also 15, nabbed by officers for an alleged armed robbery of yet another massage business earlier in the month, according to statements obtained by Nashville.gov. He, along with his peers, remains under the shadow of ongoing investigations concerning additional violent acts within the city's limits.
