According to a post shared by the SDPD on their official Facebook page, the suspect is described as a "jolly elderly male" sporting a white beard and red clothing, and the evening's escapades have included reports of a glowing red nose seen overhead, accompanied by sounds similar to hooves on rooftops, reports from witnesses also include accounts of the suspect's apparent absence of force in entering homes, instead gifting items, and demonstrating a marked preference for residences adorned with milk and cookies.
The unconventional nature of these incidents was further embellished by statements of bystanders who experienced a jovial "ho ho ho" just as the oddly-dressed burglar made a hasty exit from the premises. These occurrences are currently under investigation by local authorities, who have announced their intention to keep a close watch on the situation as night falls.
