The victim was quickly tended to by paramedics and is now receiving care at a local hospital. In the midst of the assault, which followed a brief altercation between the man and an unidentified suspect, the suspect kicked the victim's dog, resulting in the frightened animal taking flight down Leavenworth Street, according to a statement obtained by the San Francisco Police Department. The search for Charlotte Rose is being spearheaded by the SFPD's Strategic Investigation Unit (SIU).
