A 30-year-old man was arrested in connection with a terroristic threatening incident near Waiʻanae Boat Harbor on Sunday. Police arrested him in the evening at a home on Kauiokalani Place in Waiʻanae. A 34-year-old man told police he was threatened with a gun by a man in his 20s on Sunday around 3:40 p.m. The suspect fired a shot, pointed the gun at the victim, and then fled. He was described as about 5’7”, with a dark brown complexion, wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, green surf shorts, and a dark fanny pack. He left in a black four-door Honda Accord, possibly heading east on Farrington Highway. Police asked the public to help with information, as detailed by Hoodline.

The Honolulu Police Department said the public should stay alert and report any information about a recent threatening incident in Waiʻanae. No one was injured. A person was arrested and charged with first-degree terroristic threatening. It is not clear if this is the same suspect described earlier.
