Longtime all-you-can-eat sushi spot Sushi Delight (1946 Market Street) has announced it will close after more than 25 years.

Your last day to enjoy $25 AYCE sushi is Sunday, December 28.

"After much consideration, we would like to share that Sushi Delight will be closing on December 28," reads a sign in the window. "We are deeply grateful for every visit, every kind word, and the loyalty you have shown us throughout this journey."

For two decades, Sushi Delight has been next door to the popular karaoke bar The Mint.

Opened in 2005, public records indicate Sushi Delight is owned by Raymond Cao. A banner on the restaurant indicates Sushi Delight was celebrating its 20th Anniversary.

An employee tells Hoodline that Sushi Delight is closing because its owners are moving out of San Francisco.

"Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your incredible support over the years," adds Sushi Delight. "It has truly been an honor to serve you and be part of the community," Sushi Delight adds.

At this time, a new tenant for the space has not been announced.
